The Cubs traded reliever Kyle Farnsworth (and the infamous "player to be named later") to the Detroit Tigers for P Roberto Novoa, 3B Scott Moore, and OF Clarence "Bo" Flowers. Farnsworth struggled last season, and had career numbers of 22-37 with a 4.78 ERA in 343 games for the Cubs.
